Screen printed excerpts from Martin Luther King Jr’s book Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community? first published by Beacon Press in 1967, the year I was born. It was King’s 4th and last book before his assassination. Each print in the portfolio is a page from the book, the position of the text correlates with its position and page in the original book. I’ve omitted the other text on each page to emphasize the particular passages.
